EXPLORATION STATION provides different learning tools for you and your family.

LEARN AT THE MUSEUM:
Where else can children play doctor & examine real x-rays in a make believe hospital, look after babies in a nursery, milk a cow, put on a play on a stage, or watch ducks cascade down a waterfall? Children can listen to a story, dress like a fireman or firewoman in the 911 area, do crafts in the schoolroom or fix a meal in the old fashioned farm house.

MAKE LEARNING A PART OF EVERY CHILD'S LIFE:
There are many games & exercises parents can do at home with their kids to develop cognitive skills & coordination. Literature & classes are available to parents on an on going basis at Exploration Station with a small lending library that parents may request needed materials. Child Care Directions a much larger lending library is easily accessible next door to Exploration Station.

PURCHASE LEARNING TOOLS:
Exploration Station is working in partnership with Kaplan Company to bring learning toys to patrons of Exploration Station. Marked items are placed on the floor so that children & parents can explore first hand before purchasing. This is a great way to check for quality as well as children's interest before acquiring through Exploration Station. Purchased items go directly to homes. A portion of the proceeds goes back into Exploration Station exhibits & programs.
