August 19, 2010 Actor Factory Performance and Art Show (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm) Our actors from Actor Factory 2010 will perform a series of short plays in "Tall Tails" and artwork from summer art students will be on display for viewing. COME OUT and SEE what the FUN is all about!

September 10, 2010 KIDS KAMP (6:00 pm - 9:30 pm) Parents night out and leave the kids aged 4 to 9 with us! Cost is $15/members and $20 for nonmembers. Each additional child is $5. Call 738-1114 by Thursday at 1 pm The Carolina Civic Center will be hosting their FILM series featuring the WIZARD OF OZ, so take your date to the movies and leave your young children with us!!!

September 16, 2010 Sylvan Pre-School Assessment (10:00 am - 1:00 pm) Sylvan is coming by and offering FREE Speed DIAL assessments for pre-school aged children aged 3-5. Please call Stacie at 738-1114 to schedule your appointment for this opportunity to see where your child falls on a range of readiness skills.

September 16, 2010 ART STARTS!!! Art Class - ages 4-7 (5:00 pm - 8:00 pm) Monthly Art classes sponsored in part through a Grassroots grant from the NC Arts Council will begin this month! Our art teacher Barbie Coble will have class for ages 4-7 beginning at 5:00 pm and for ages 7 and up beginning at 6:30 pm. The cost for classes this month will be $12/members and $15/non-members.

September 23, 2010 READ TO SUCCEED story hour/Awards night (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm) PICK UP your book mark today and each child that submits a completed book mark with documentation of 10 books read can exchange their book mark at Exploration Station for a certificate redeemable for 1 FREE children’s buffet courtesy of Golden Corral of Lumberton, NC. We will have a special storytime, songs, and snacks provided by Golden Corral.

September 27, 2010 BIRTHDAY BASH!! (4:00 pm - 5:30 pm) Exploration Station will be 10 years old on this day and we are going to CELEBRATE!!! We welcome back old friends and new friends but PLEASE let us know if you are coming by calling 738-1114 by September 23, 2010 so that we can plan accordingly.
